There are two types of color models, the additives and the subtractive ones. An additive model is based on adding or mixing the basic colors as a way to obtain the target.
This model forms the colors Yellow, Cyan and Magenta.
A subtractive model is based on mixing the primary colors of said model to "subtract light", that is, to obtain black, which would be the absence of light.
This model forms the colors red, green and blue.
